Cascabel

Cascabel, une jeune fille d'une vingtaine d'années vit dans un village de La Alcarria et doit son surnom au grelot qu'elle porte toujours à la cheville. C'est un cadeau de son père Tadeo mais il commence à être comme une punition. Son amie Luz revient de Madrid où elle a essayé sans succès de devenir chanteuse. Cascabel avait placé tous ses espoirs sur le succès de Luz pour pouvoir quitter le village. Suite à son échec, Luz décide de rester au village et de ne plus chanter. Cascabel ne se résigne pas à ce destin et tente par tous les moyens d'atteindre son objectif.
Cascabel, a young woman in her twenties, lives in a village in La Alcarria and got her name from the bell she always wears on her ankle. This bell, which was a present from her father Tadeo, begins to weigh heavily on her. Her friend Luz comes back from Madrid where she has been trying in vain to make her way as a professionel singer. Cascabel had put all her hopes on Luz's triumph as a way of getting out of the village. Because of her failure in Madrid, Luz decides to stay in the village and not sing anymore. Cascabel doesn't accept her fate and does everything she possibly can to get what she wants…
